Haley enjoys playing for events and intimate weddings in Johnson City, Fredericksburg, Kerrville, Dripping Springs, Horseshoe Bay, and throughout the Hill Country at area homes and venues. She is an elegant addition to your cocktail reception, private dinner, tea party or brunch, open house, bridal or baby shower, birthday, award or recognition gala, funeral, art gallery opening, salon or spa, winery, country club, hotel, restaurant, or any special occasion.
Her repertoire includes classical, jazz standards, broadway and show tunes, Celtic and folk, hymns, and holiday favorites.

Whether you desire to study seriously with hopes of becoming a professional harpist or you want to enjoy playing the harp for the therapeutic qualities, Haley will help you to achieve your musical goals.
Weekly lessons cover all aspects of harp playing, including: tuning, instrument care, music history, practice techniques, harp repertoire, musicianship, music theory, sightreading, group and orchestral playing, and more.
Lesson times are flexible and can be scheduled during the days, after school, evenings, or weekends. Located in Blanco County between Johnson City and Hye in the Texas Hill Country, Haley offers weekly half hour and hour long harp lessons to beginning and intermediate lever and pedal harpists of all ages in her home.
Haley will help guide new students with finding and choosing a rental or purchasing a new or used harp that fits the student's musical aspirations.
Harp lesson tuition is $50 for each hour or $30 for each half hour lesson, payable monthly.

Haley Ping began her musical career learning to play piano during elementary school. During her senior year in high school she sought out her first harp teacher, Melissa Calusio, to fulfill her dream of playing harp. After high school graduation she continued her pedal harp study at Washington University in St. Louis with Dr. Sue Taylor and earned a music minor in 2005 while studying Printmaking and Drawing in the Art School.
Haley continues to play harp and piano and is learning organ. She can often be heard playing at churches and other venues throughout the Texas Hill Country and enjoys sharing her love of the harp and music with others.
